Regarding the Experience

What can I expect from Westchester’s Winter Wonderland?

You can expect to create lasting lifetime memories with family and friends and celebrate the holiday season with our 1.2 mile dazzling light show, unlike anything else in the area! You can also wave to our very own Santa.  Proceeds go to support Westchester Parks Foundation and the award winning Westchester County Park system throughout the year.

Where is the experience located?
Westchester’s Winter Wonderland is located at Kensico Dam Plaza, 1 Bronx River Parkway, Valhalla, NY 10595.

Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?
It takes place in an outdoor venue, from the comfort of your vehicle..

How long does the experience last?
It is a 1.2 mile Light Show experience lasting approximately 30 minutes.

Is it COVID secure and safe?
All participants are in their own vehicle at all times.

Is the experience accessible for deaf people?
The Light Show does not require hearing to enjoy! We also have an app on Otocast that explains each Light Show element.

What accessibility options do we have for someone visually impaired?
Holiday music accompanies the light vignettes.

Will there be strobe lights?
There are some flashing lights.

Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?
Only in the three day “NovemberFest” Opening Weekend, November 21-November 23. The Drive-thru Light Show from November 28 onwards does not feature food & beverage for purchase.

Can I take photos or record the experience?
You may take your own videos and recordings! The driver of the vehicle must remain attentive at all times.

Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience/exhibition?
The Drive-thru Light Show is from the safety and comfort of your own car. During the NovemberFest Opening Weekend, patrons will be able to bring their own wheelchairs or mobility devices.

Will restrooms be available on site?
Only for the NovemberFest Opening Weekend, portable restrooms will be on-site. The Drive-thru will not allow patrons to exit their vehicles to use the park restroom.

Are there vegan or gluten-free options available?
Food is not available for purchase during the Drive-thru experience.

Regarding Access to the Event

Do I need to wear a mask?
No.

Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?
You may arrive any time within your 15 minute time slot.

What happens if I arrive late?
The event is subject to being sold out, you may be denied entry if you do not arrive during your designated time slot.

Can I bring animals?
The Drive-thru Light Show is from the safety and comfort of your own car, you may have your pets/service animals safely inside your vehicle..

Is there an age requirement?
No

Is the venue ADA compliant?
This is a Drive-thru event.

Is there parking available?
This is a Drive-thru event, thus parking is not applicable. Parking on site will be available during the NovemberFest Opening Weekend, subject to availability..

What if the weather is bad?
Westchester’s Winter Wonderland is rain or shine. 

Are wheelchairs available to rent?
No

Can I purchase a ticket at the event?

Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Where can I get tickets?

In the Fever App, available on Google Play and the Apple Store.

On the Fever website.

Is there a military discount?
No

Do I need to print my ticket?
No need to print — digital tickets shown on your mobile device are accepted.

Can I transfer my tickets to another person?
Yes, tickets are transferable. Please contact us with the new guest’s information in advance.

Can I reschedule my tickets to another date/time, or upgrade/downgrade my ticket?
Yes, changes can be made depending on availability. Please contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled visit.

What are the official sellers for this experience?
Tickets should only be purchased through our official website.

Can I make a group booking?
Please contact us directly for oversized vehicles, info@thewpf.org

I can't find my ticket. What can I do?
No worries! Contact us with your name and booking details, and we’ll resend your ticket.
