Winter Wonderland Holiday Circus
The Westchester Winter Wonderland Circus will thrill children of all ages in 2019. The show will feature the motorcycle thrill drivers in the Giant Thunder Dome reaching speeds of 55 miles an hour. This year’s show will star Circus Legend Greg DeSanto, The President of the International Clown Hall of Fame and the One Time Director of Clowning on the Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus. Prepare to have your funny bone tickled!!!!
Westchester Winter Wonderland is proud to partner with Santa’s Workshop in North Pole NY to bring Santa’s real live reindeer to this year’s festivities. Santa’s Workshop was the first theme park in the United States. The Workshop has been the summer home of Santa and his reindeers for 69 years. Santa has given us permission to recreate Santa’s workshop at the North Pole, you’ll be able to visit Mrs. Claus’ Cookie Factory, Cupids Candy Cupboard, and The Elves Toy Workshop. We are so excited to announce that North Pole One, Santa’s very own sleigh will be available for photo opportunities this year. Come Visit Santa, Mrs. Claus and the reindeer at the 2019 Westchester Winter Wonderland!
Outdoor Ice Rink
Your admission includes unlimited skating (with skates included) on our outdoor ice rink! Skate against the backdrop of beautiful Kensico Dam Plaza and twinkling lights all around. Lace up and enjoy one of Westchester’s only outdoor ice skating rinks!
FUNderland Village is comprised of 8 rides this year including everyone’s favorite Holiday Train and Winter Hayride plus new Kiddie rides. Attractions highlighted this year will be a 40′ high heated slide that was featured in this past season of the hit TV show “Stranger Things” and a larger 55′ high Ferris Wheel. As always, rides will have unlimited use for all patrons.
At over 40′ tall our Christmas tree is Westchester’s tallest and the perfect backdrop to capture lasting holiday memories with a family photo.
Lights of Wonder
Do you remember the excitement you had as a kid driving by the houses with the biggest, most extravagant holiday decorations and lights? Westchester’s Winter Wonderland’s Lights of Wonder Show brings you right back to those childhood memories as you watch dancing lights magically light up the night throughout the evening. This year’s show is even BIGGER and BRIGHTER and is the perfect place to create new holiday memories with your family.

1 child age 12 and under with new or gently used sporting equipment enters free when accompanied by paying adult. Items needed: basketballs, long jump ropes, soccer balls, footballs, badminton rackets, volleyballs, portable soccer nets, air pumps, kickballs, frisbees, tennis balls & slip n slides.
Active Duty & Veteran’s Appreciation Day 12/20
All Veteran’s and active duty personnel receive $5 off their ticket with I.D. A maximum of 4 tickets at that price.
New Years Eve Ball Drop 12/31
Come celebrate the New Year at Winter Wonderland! Door open at 5 pm with a ball drop and pyrotechnics show at 7 pm.
Great Dining Options for 2019
Food options have gone through a major change for the Winter Wonderland 2019 season. Individual Concession stands selling all your favorite festival foods, snacks, dessert and beverages. The variety of concession stands will be located inside the event grounds and will be able to provide fast and convenience service! The heated Wegmans Dining Tent is able to accommodate those who want to sit and rest while they enjoy their food and refreshments.

Is Kensico Dam Plaza open during Winter Wonderland?
Yes, the park is open to the public as usual. The park will close one hour before Winter Wonderland opens on event days, at 4pm, and 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
What are the hours for Winter Wonderland?
Winter Wonderland is open from 5-10pm on weekdays, Saturdays from 4-10pm and Sundays form 4-9pm through December 15th and 4-10pm through December 29th. For the full event calendar, please visit our homepage: http://www.wwinterwonderland.com.
Do I have to pay extra for the ice-skating, skate rentals, rides or entertainment?
No, your ticket price is all-inclusive. It includes UNLIMITED Winter Wonderland Holiday Circus performances, ice-skating on our outdoor ice rink, skate rentals, visits with Santa and special characters, and TEN holiday rides. Concessions at the Holiday Circus, including cotton candy/souvenirs are not included.
Do you have a discount for groups of 20 or more?
Yes, tickets for groups of 20 or more people are $18 each, saving you $2 off the regular ticket price.
Do I have to buy tickets in advance?
You can purchase your ticket at the box office at Kensico Dam Plaza on the day you wish to attend, but if you want to avoid the lines you may want to purchase your ticket ahead of time online. Will there be food available at the event? Do I have to eat outside?
Food snacks, treats, and beverages will be available for purchase at various locations inside the Winter Wonderland grounds.
Can I get a drink, or a glass of beer or wine?
There is Beer and Wine for purchase at two locations for those 21 and older.
Is Winter Wonderland handicapped accessible? What about strollers?
Yes, Kensico Dam Plaza is handicapped accessible, and there are no stairs to negotiate through the event. Handicapped parking is available, but your car must display a handicapped placard or plate. Strollers are welcome but muse be parked in Stroller Park when inside the Circus Tent and Santa’s Experience.
It’s raining on the night I planned to go, what should I do?
Tickets are non-refundable once you enter the event. However, since tickets are not date specific, you can use your ticket any day you like.
Can I park for free?
Parking at Westchester’s Winter Wonderland is always FREE.
My pets are part of my family. Can they come to Winter Wonderland?
Sorry, but we do not allow pets, aside from service animals.
Are the food and shopping vendors cash-only?
Many of the food and shopping vendors accept major credit cards and debit cards. Additionally there is an ATM by the restroom facility.
How many people come to Kensico Dam for Winter Wonderland?
We have had over 100,000 people experience Winter Wonderland since our first season in 2014. We are looking forward to your visit!
